L.F. Roche, rider of Docks, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow away.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Sea Of Rain, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green in the home straight.
166B BOYLE Sports Money Back if 2nd To SP HcpJ.M. Sheridan, rider of Hexagonal, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked right on his approach to the road crossing causing interference. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted.
166C Bulmers Live HcapThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cosmic Funk, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed a few times when being examined post race.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Running Point, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel turning into the home straight. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed that Running Point had blood at both nostrils post race.
166D BOYLE Sports Home Of Early Rated RaceS. Foley, rider of Glitter And Glory, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the home straight.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Johnny Soda, placed first, as compared with its most run at Leopardstown on June 4th. Adrian McGuinness stated that his last run was on very rain softened ground and this evenings better ground in his opinion contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
166E1 1878 At 3Arena H'capNicola Burns, rider of Genuine Jim, trained by R.P.Burns, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran up on heels and clipped heels. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
R.C. Colgan, rider of Shanlieve, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed that Shanlieve had blood at both nostrils post race.
166E2 1878 At 3Arena H'capL.F. Roche, rider of Nibras Rainbow, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was caught in a pocket and got no run in the home straight.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Crypto Crash (GB), trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the home straight.
Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Desert Of The Sea, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ducked at the road crossing.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Richard Brabazon, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Yquem, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Richard Brabazon stated that last time from a wide draw she ran a bit keen and that getting cover this evening contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
166F 1878 At 3Arena M'dnJ.M. Sheridan, rider of Changing Lanes (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked at the road crossing.
166G BOYLE Sports Squad Builder (QR) M'dnMr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Salsinha (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount broke slowly.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms K.M. Ryan, rider of Eagle Fang, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Ms. K.M. Ryan stated that she felt one of her strikes did not make contact with her mount. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Ms. K.M. Ryan was in breach of R. 10.3 (g) (frequency) and in considering her clean record in this regard they suspended her for two racedays.
